Prof. Christoph Wamser

Christoph Wamser is a Professor of E-Business at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences in Germany and a lecturer at NIMBAS University in the Netherlands, specializing in E-Business, Strategic Management and Technology Management. He holds Masters degrees in Business Administration and Social Sciences from Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt and a Marketing degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Wamser has been involved with the Internet and associated network technologies since 1995 - the very birth of the economic use of new media.

Prior to joining Bonn-Rhein-Sieg Business School Prof. Wamser was a consultant with a leading international management and technology consulting firm. He led and participated in consulting projects in the field of E-Business & Multimedia, Marketing & Strategy and Venture Management & Partnering. Mr. Wamser has provided consulting services both to Fortune 500 companies and start-ups and has headed an international competence center based in Düsseldorf, Germany and Palo Alto, California.

Prof. Wamser is the author of three books and numerous articles. In addition he has conducted a number of large-scale empirical studies. His current research and consulting activities are primarily focused on strategic aspects of E-Business and M-Business, technology-based Management Concepts and Venture Management. Results of his work are published and quoted in leading management publications (e.g. Capital) and on TV channels (e.g. ARD Tagesthemen).
